    • Marriage licence issued 13 Dec 1690 reads: "William Thompson of Chartham, gent, bat, aged 22 and Elizabeth Baldocke of Molash, sp, 21, whose mother consents. At Chartham, Chilham or Molash. Alexander Middleton of Chartham, clerk, bondsman." Note that Alexander Middleton was the step-father of William Thompson.
