Will of George Ruck of Faversham 21 February 1757, probate 6 Dec 1757
IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I, GEORGE RUCK, of Faversham, in the County of Kent, butcher, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do therefor make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say:
First and principally I commit my soul to the Almighty God, my body to the Earth to be decently buried according to the discretion of my Executor hereafter named and for such worldly estate and effects as I shall be possessed of or any ways entitled unto at the time of my decease I give and bequeath the same unto my brother THOMAS RUCK of White Hill near Faversham in the County of Kent, Gentleman.
And I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my said brother, THOMAS RUCK above named, Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other and former Wills I have heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty-first day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty-seven  and in the thirtieth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second by the grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland King, defender of the faith.

By the said Testator, GEORGE RUCK, as and for George Ruck
his last Will and Testament in the presence of us.
THIS WILL was proved at London before the Worshipful Andrew Colter Ducarel [?] Doctor of Laws, Surrogate of the Right Honourable Sir George Lee, Knight, Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper of Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted on the sixth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty-seven  by the oath of THOMAS RUCK, the brother of the said deceased and sole Executor named in the said Will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the deceased he having been first sworn duly to administer.
