  • Notes
    • Manorial records have helped to trace Amy at least until her marriage to John Harper in 1756. Her first husband, Henry Knowler, Gent. received lands belonging to the Manor of Faversham from his mother, Susannah during 1745. He was under 21 at that time and unable to swear fealty. The Manor rent book of 1755 records Amy Knowler on the property and assessed for 1) south side of West West; 2) north side Abbey Street and West side Abbey Street.
