    • Ernest Longley or Langley was born 29 March 1866. In 1881 he was registered as Ernest L. Rennett on the census. He was a grocer's apprentice and worked at 10 High Street, Northfleet for Charles pearson. He appears on the 1891 census living with his mother in Avenue Road, Kearnsey, aged 25 years and working as a grocer.
