      Edith and George returned to England, from Canada during 1915 as she was unable to adjust to life in Canada and had a very difficult time trying to learn the decimal system of money used here.

      Landlord with husband and son of the Rose Inn, on Wheeler Street in Maidstone from circa 1915 through 1954 (Kent Electoral Rolls). In 1945 George, Jr. was missing from the roll and it may be that he was off fighting in W. W. II.
