IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN, this four and twentieth day of April in the sixth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord and Lady King William and Queen Mary, anno domini one thousand six hundred ninety four, I, JOHN RUCK, of Tillingham, in the County of Essex, flaxman, being sick and weak but of disposing mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills by me made and first and principally, I commit my body to the earth hoping assuredly through the merits of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to receive free pardon for all my sins,
In primus I give and bequeath unto GEORGE RUCK second son to my brother GABRIEL RUCK of Molash [spelled Morelash in the Will] in the County of Kent all that my messuage or tenement with an acre and half of ground thereunto belonging lying and being on Stockett’s Hill joining unto Boughton-under-the-Blean in the said County of Kent to the use and behoofe of the said GEORGE RUCK, his heirs and assigns forever.
All the rest of my goods and chattels whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my loving friend MR. JOHN HOLLINGSWOORTH of Tillingham, aforesaid, he paying first my debts and funeral expenses, whom I make Executor to this my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

PROBATUM fuit huismodi Testamentum apud London Vicesimo non die mensis Junii Anno Domini Millimo Sexcemno Nonagemo quarto coram venli vire Georgio Bramston Legum Dcore Surrogate venlis et egregii viri domini Richardi Raines Militis Legum etiam Doctoris curae Praerogative Cantuariensis Magri Custodis sive Commissarii ltime constituti juramente JOHANNIS HOLLINGWORTH, Executoris in huismodi Testamento nominat cui commissa fuit Admistraco onnimum et singulorum bonorum jurium et creditorum dicti defuncti de bene et fideliter adminstrand eadem ad sancta dei evangelia jurat, etc.
PROBATE granted at London on the 29th day of the month of June, A.D. 1694 by George Bramston, Doctor of Laws and Surrogate to Sir Richard Raines, Doctor of Laws of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury to John Hollingworth the Executor named in the Will he being first duly sworn to perform the same faithfully, etc.
