      Marriage Banns, page 17, 1771, entry #83, Stephen Collor and Mary Bass, banns called 17 Nov and 24 Nov by William Strong and on 1 December by Edward Penry, Minister.

      Marriage Book, page 20, 1771, entry #78, Marriage solemnized between Stephen Collar of Preston and Mary Bass of this parish by banns on the 7th day of December 1771 by Edward Penry. Both Stephen and Mary signed the register with an 'X'. Witnesses Essex Taylor and William Ivy. [Note: William Ivy appears to have been a churchwarden. Essex Taylor married 13 May 1776 after banns, Mary Dyaper, both of Teynham. Witnesses were William Evernden and William Ivy.]
