      Barling George Vallence 74 Hendon 3a 91

Matilda nee Lusted seems to have vanished sometime between 1855 and 1861 census. In 1861 George Vallance Barling is living by himself but claims to be married.

By 1871 he has started to have children with Sarah Maughan, whom he never married. Yet, by 1864 the births of their children are being registered as Barling with mother's maiden name as Maughan.
