"I will endeavour to find cuttings of the trial of John Jenkins, but very few existed, most of our information came from the T.V. although the case appeared open and shut, I and other people I have spoken to, people who went to school with him also do question if John could ever have committed such a dastardly deed."

"About six months ago, a John Jenkins, grandson of the former [Henry] was sentenced to life imprisonment for battering to death a former beauty queen of Canterbury, Kent. Unbelievable! This John was a quiet, married country farmer. I have known him all his life."
