IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN, the twenty-fifth day of July in the seventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord William, by the grace of God, of England, I, ELIZABETH RUCK, of Withersden, in Wye, in the County of Kent, widow, relict of William Ruck, deceased, being sick in body but of sound and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God and calling to remembrance the uncertain estate of this transitory life and that all flesh might yield unto death when it shall please God to call, DO MAKE, CONSTITUTE, ORDAIN AND DECLARE this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, revoking and annulling by these Testaments all and every Testament and Testaments, Will and Wills heretofore by me made and declared either by word or writing and this is to be taken only for my last Will and Testament and none other and first being penitent and sorry for my sins past, most humbly beseeching forgiveness for the same, I give and commit unto Almighty God, my Saviour and Redeemer, in whom and by the merits of Jesus Christ, I believe assuredly to be saved and to have full remission and forgiveness of all my sins and that my Soul with my body at the general day of resurrection shall rise again with joy and through the merit of Christ's death and passion possess and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven prepared for his elect and chosen and my body to be buried in such place where it shall please my Executors hereafter named to appoint and now for the settling of my temporal estate and such goods and debts as it hath pleased almighty God far above my desserts to bestow upon me, I do order, give and dispose of the same in manner following, that is to say:
ITEM, I make my son, William, and my daughter, Elizabeth, Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
ITEM, I give my household stuff equally to be divided amongst my children with what they have already had.
ITEM, I give unto ELIZABETH BING, a pair of sheets and a ten shilling piece of gold.
IN WITNESS WHEREUNTO I have set my hand and seal the day and year above.
