      George James and Harriett Pinyon m 16 Oct 1847 both of full age, he bachelor, labourer of Harbledown, father William James, labourer, she spinster, no occupation, residing at Petham, father John Pinyon, labourer. Married in the Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England by me, J. H. Hughes Hallett, Officiating Minister. This marriage was solemnized between us, George James by his mark, Hariet [sic] Pinyon in the presence of us Henry Adams and Hannah Gillis, both signed by their marks
