IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN, I, THOMASIN RUCKE, of the parish of Preston near Faversham, widow, being sick in body, but of good and perfect memory and remembrance, make this my last Will and Testament, revoking all former Wills.
First, I give my soul into the hands of Almighty God, hoping to have salvation through the merits of Christ my Saviour; And my body I commit to the earth until the last day. And for my worldly goods thus I do dispose of them.
First, I give unto the poor people of Sheldwich 3s 4d to be paid to the collectors within 6 months after my death.
Item, I give unto the three children of JACOB SYLVER, to every one of them 6s 8d to be bestowed on them at the discretion of VALENTYNE RUCK within 6 months after my death.
Item, I give unto the three children of GABRIELL RUCK to every one of them 6s 8d a piece.
Item, I give unto my daughter MARY SYLVER twenty shillings in money or worth in apparel within three months after my death.
Item, I give unto MARY HOLLAWAY, widow, twenty shillings to be paid to her within 6 months after my departure.
Item, I give unto VALENTYNE RUCK, my son, and unto THOMAS RUCK, my son, to either of them ten shillings, to be paid to the, within 6 months after my death.
Item, I give to MICHAEL ADYE 20s.

Item, I give unto my daughter, HELLEN PARRAMORE, for her three children twenty shillings to be paid to her, within 7 months after my death.
All other my goods and movables and whatsoever else to me belongeth I give unto my son-in-law THOMAS ADYE, and I make him the said THOMAS ADYE my full and whole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, paying my debts and funerals and performing this my last Will according to my meaning. And thus the Lord receive my soul to his mercy.

PROBATE made the 12th day of December 1610 of the above said Will presented by Policarp Taugett, Notary Public, before the Lord. Official etc. to THOMAS ADYE, Executor, etc. after swearing the oath to truly and faithfully administer the goods etc.
