Notes |
- For lack of a better position to assign this family to, I have temporarily added the Olivers as being children from a first marriage for Thomasine. I have no proof whatsoever that this is the case. In the Will of John, Jr. of 1591 he refers to Thomas Oliver as his "brother-in-law". This leaves the interpretation wide open. Was "brother-in-law" used in the sense in which it was known for the times that is to say, meaning brother-by-law. In Matthew's Will of 1597 the Olivers are referred to as "cousins". Consequently, the Oliver family fits with the Ruckes in some capacity which is not yet clear.
