Notes |
- On his marriage, Richard was described as being an Esquire. In the Electoral rolls for 1832 he was shown as residing on Romney Place, Maidstone but no occupation was included. However, on the christening entries for several of his children his occupation was described as being a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy. I subsequently discovered his engagement as a Lieutenant during January 1806.
