At the Hotel Dieu Hospital Monday, Jan. 30, 1978. Ruth Thomson, of 12 Johnson Street, in her 69th year beloved wife of James Thomson dear mother of Brian of St. Catharines, sister of Robert Greenough, St. Catharines, Thomas Greenough, England, dear grandmother of David, Debbie and Lorie.
Mrs. Thomson is at the BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 33 Duke Street. Service in the chapel on Thursday Feb 2, at 2:45 p.m. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

MRS. JAMES THOMSON
Ruth Thomson, 68, wife of James Thomson of 12 Johnson Street died yesterday at Hotel Dieu Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Thatto Heath, England, Mrs. Thomson had lived in St. Catharines for 50 years and was a member of St. Andrew's United Church and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Port Dalhousie Branch 350, Royal Canadian Legion and the Port Dalhousie Lioness Club.
She is survived by a son, Brian, in St. Catharines; two brothers, Robert Greenough in St. Catharines and Thomas Greenough in England and three grandchildren.
She is at the Butler Funeral Home where funeral service will be in the chapel Thursday at 2:45 p.m. Burial will be in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
Visiting hours at the funeral home are today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
