      Peacefully at Tufford Nursing Home on Friday, September 9, 2005 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late John Harms (1983). Dear mother of Victoria (Leon) Pelkey of Oakville, Shirley Ascott of St. Catharines, step-mother of Dennis (Celi) Harms of the Philippines, Leonard (Glenna) Harms of Georgetown, David (Pat) Harms of Orangeville. Loving grandmother of eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters Marjorie Anderson and Betty Dundas and one granddaughter. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Doris was a charter member of Facer Street Baptist Church and a very active worker within the church.

      A funeral service of remembrance for Doris will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at Facer Street Baptist Church, 17 Facer Street at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friend one hour prior to service time. Private family inumment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow after the service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Facer Street Baptist Church would be greatly appreciate by the family.
