      The last Will and Testament Nuncupative of WILLIAM AUSTEN late of the parish of Chilham in the County of Kent batchelor, deceased, by him uttered and declared the next day before his death, he being then sick and weak in body but of good and perfect memory with an intent and purpose to make his Will and to dispose of his estate in these words follwoing o the like in effect and substance, vizt

      First he demanded of his brother THOMAS if he would take upon him to be his Executor and the said THOMAS telling him he would, the said WILLIAM answered that then it should be so he should be his Executor and said that his brothers should have twenty pounds a piece out of his estate, and that the said THOMAS should have the remainder, after his debts and legacies were paid.

      And further he gave five pounds to the poor of the parish of Chilham.
