Wickhambreaux is, ecclesiastically, in the diocese of Canterbury, in the archdeaconry of Canterbury and in the deanery of Bridge. The church is named for St. Andrew with registers commencing 1563. Wickhambreaux, is a parish, with a village, in Bridge district, Kent; 2-1/2 miles northeast of Bekesbourne rail station, and 4-1/2 east-by-north of Canterbury. It has a post office under Sandwich. Acres, 2,310. Real property in 1860, £5,647. Population in 1861, 461. Houses, 106. The property is subdivided. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Canterbury.
